Kaoba transports you through many deep emotions. The melodies in this CD were inspired during special moments in the course of my life when love, sadness, joy or hope were present.  My wish is that you dance, reminisce and experience the feelings behind these songs.  The guitar, which has been part of my life as far back as I can remember, is accompanied by some of my favorite instruments in this collection. I want to thank God, my family and friends who have made possible the creation of my music so that I can share it with you today.  I dedicate it to all those who have experienced love in its many forms.  Enjoy

Raul Chavez has been performing since the age of 14 in Latin America, United States, Canada and Europe.  Trained as a classical musician, Raul obtained a degree in musical composition and arrangements, as well as in pedagogy of music.  Talented with the virtuosity in the guitar, he composes music that includes the fusión of classical, contemporary and world music.  Originally from Trujillo, Peru, he has enjoyed performing before many audiences throughout the world in his own style.  The founder of Cantanmerica Music, he also delighted Peruvian and American audiences with songs from the Andes and Criolle Music from Peru.
